Christmas Stuff

Put up our Christmas tree and some decorations. In the past I haven't put any decorations on the tree so this year we only put bulbs on. Love this time of year. Love Christmas music and Christmas lights. I'm teaching the girls to sing, "Jingle Bells" and a few other songs.

Little Stinker

Sophie has figured out how to climb out of her crib. I hate it when they figure it out. We do the WHOLE ROUTINE thing: bathtime, pajamas, book, brush teeth, night-night. Abby will stay in her bed but Sophie, NOPE. I thought timeout would make her want her bed, NOPE. She prefers timeout as you can tell by the picture. Sweet dreams because I'm not getting any.

Sleepover at Grandpa and Grandma's House

On Friday, Abby was sad that we didn't go to Grandma's house. Instead grandpa and grandma came over and watched a Christmas movie. But still Abby was sad because she wanted to go to their house. So they invited her over for a sleepover. She was so HAPPY. She had such a fun time. She helped grandpa and grandma decorate their Christmas tree and they went out to pizza with great grandpa and grandma Page. Fun times!!

Thanksgiving 2009

We had such a great time for Thanksgiving. What more could you want: family, food, and playing. We feel very blessed to have family close by. Thanks Sid and Denise for hosting the dinner this year.

Thanksgiving Program

Here is Abby in her Thanksgiving Program. It was very short, but they sang a few songs and said a few things. She really likes her teacher Mrs. Kymm and her class. We're thankful for the joy Abby brings to our family.

First Snow

Abby and Sophie have been asking when it would snow. One morning we got a trace of snow and they were so excited. They had a lot of fun while I stayed by the door in my PJ's to watch them play.

What we've been up to......

Went and picked out our pumpkins. It turned out to be a wonderful day.

Abby started her first day of Preschool. I made her a bookbag but she didn't like it for the first week because it didn't have a cat on it. So this is the best picture I could get at the time.

Campout at Grandpa's

We've been looking forward to Grandpa's birthday all year because we have so much fun camping out in the backyard. Abby enjoyed throwing the water balloons and sleeping on the tramp. Sophie enjoyed playing in the water with Jed and Alexander. We had so much fun that we didn't leave until late Saturday night. Happy Birthday Sid! Thanks Denise!!

Porter Reunion at Bear Lake

Over the 4th of July weekend everybody in my family were able to get together. It was the highlight of the summer. We all had a blast hiking to Bloomington, riding the 4-wheelers (thanks Levi and Rachel), sitting by the fire, hanging out at the beach, and getting raspberry shakes. It's nice to get together and see everyone. Can't wait for our next reunion.
